PBA Governor’s Cup

Last one or two games remain and the PBA conference will end as well (just like the Shakey’s V-League). But this time I am not cheering for the Tropang Texters. Though I am not actively watching like the usual, I have opted to be in favor of my old and long-time favorite Petron Blaze Boosters (formerly San Miguel Beermen). With their import who is really dependable (Paul Millsap) I hope they could get the Championship trophy this time. I have this much faith on Marcio Lassiter and Chriz Lutz not to mention that the veteran Danny Ildefonso is still playing for the team.

Shakey’s V-League Season 10 Finals

The second game of the Season 10 finals has just ended. IT was a battle between the Smart Net Spikers and the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns. The latter being undefeated I find myself favoring the underdog simply because my very idol Alyssa Valdez was there. It is done and because it is I have to calm myself because the pinch of hope that’s left in me has already gone. It was a hard battle fought by both teams but I need acceptance that my team I am in favor of fell as a first placer of the conference. Best of luck next time!

October 2013 Earthquake in the Philippines

The force of the earthquake that struck the cities of Bohol and Cebu seemed to be equivalent to several atomic bombs thrown during the violence in Hiroshima Japan. It has killed more than two hundred (200) lives and destructed more than two billion pesos worth of properties and infrastructures including residential buildings, churches and other structures. There were sinkholes discovered after the shaking which made the area next to it unsafe for people to live in. This disaster has brought so much pain, fear and suffering to the Filipinos who were greatly affected. If only a song played through rogue guitars at wwbw can ease their troubles I would do it for them so I can help even in the simplest way I can.

An Award Undeserved

It breaks my heart knowing that your favorite sports icon has not earned an award simply because of a non-sense protest from a member of the committee. Just a player was not able to play a single game his effort to bring the team to the semis and championship would be disregarded. I really think that is unfair and is really disappointing.

My idol must have been earned the honor from the people who believe in him but he does not deserve to be ignored. But the very problem on this might fall on not having a system to be the basis of everything.
