Victim as its basic connotation is somebody who is at the aggravated end and it is so sad that other than being a victim they are now becoming even more desperate about getting relief goods such as food, water, personal hygiene and other primary commodities. Looting is becoming rampant due to hunger. A lot of the inflicted families are even getting sick and in worse need of medicines and other health related stuff. I just hope that the government will be able to speed up the aid that these victims are ought to receive just like a music that comes out of a gretsch resonator as it produces a quality and pleasing sound that may ease the burden of experiencing such a horrible disaster.
The most popular sports league in the country Philippine Basketball Association is now showing love to the fellow countrymen especially to those who have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan or Super bagyo Yolanda.
They will be giving away 1 million pesos to the victims of the typhoon through the help of the Commissioner and its board of Governors. As a proof of collaboration between PBA and TV5 they will be coursing it through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc. PBA Chairman Mon Segismundo has uttered “we stand united in alleviating the hardships of our kababayans in this latest disaster”. I salute the PBA on this move.
Today is a federal holiday in the United States. This is an official holiday in honor of those who have served the United States Armed Forces. It was proclaimed first in 1918 by United States President Woodrow Wilson. I can imagine the hardships during the world war era especially when a military gets wounded in the fight. I wish the technology right now is already present then where you can immediately refer to something like online pharmacy tcds which offers free shipping of your medicine requirements. That way the inflicted ones can be attended quickly with all the drugs you can purchase with savings.
“I have the right against self-incrimination. I have the right to remain silent. I don’t know. I am not. I have no idea. I can’t remember. I don’t have it.” These are just some of the common answers of the alleged originator of the billion peso scam in the Philippine Government Janet Napoles. At least she showed up. For some people this may seem a waste of time, effort and money (150,000 pesos worth of protection) but it is actually of equal significance since it also means as an attestation to the statements of the whistleblowers that initially went against Napoles.
Thirty-two years ago when my mother gave birth to a baby boy. It was a year ahead of me. According to my grandma, should he has been allowed to experience the fullness of life then he might be one of the most beautiful masterpieces of God. With his pointed nose and rosy cheeks he was as if an angel sent from Above with the kind of face he has. If only he is alive until now I would probably avail of something like business card printing from printingamerica.com
It’s been a year since our grandmother left us. Early morning of November first last year 2012 when I got a message telling me that lola passed away already after several months of being bed ridden. Her death has caused us so much pain but it has made us realized that she maybe is happier and feeling better next to the Creator up there. This time along with the All Saint’s Day we remembered lola’s death anniversary in prayer. We also set meals for the group of elderly who led the singing and praying. There was no zoom ms100bt set but the it all turned out well. The next day we went to her tomb visited her and the rest of our families who have died as well.
