It is just this season that I became a literally big fan of the Tropang Texters. It is because of my hubby and my hubby’s playing friend Ranidel De Ocampo. Last March 28, 2012, we had the chance to watch them live and I was able to have a picture with some of them. I can say that Dillinger is one of the most approachable of them all. Not only that, he is one of the most aggressive players as well.
I am so proud of what Jared has executed last night in their do or die 5th game for the semis. Without him in that game, I don’t think it is that possible for the TNT nation to get through the finals. Congrats Tropang Texters! Jared, you’re now one of my idols!!!

As I am constantly visiting some of the on-line deals sight I am frequently seeing lately some of high power led lamps being sold with greater discount. Now I am becoming really very curious about the thing as most of them are saying that it helps save energy consumption. LED is becoming really more popular nowadays even in television or in projector screen. I am thinking now of changing all the lights in my house. I just would like to learn more about before doing so. If my renovation plan would continue this year then all the lighting will be replaced as well.

Have you had the chance to eat using banana leaves as your plate? Can you imagine a number of people eating all together in just one plate? Well, if you have not experienced it yet you will realized how fun-filled it would be most especially if you will do the eating with bare hands. It is highly recommended especially if you’re going to eat grilled fish with matching unripe mango with sauteed shrimp paste. Yum yum!
We did it during the Good Friday. Though it is ideal to fast or it should really be a fasting day we have at least lessen our way by doing it in a Filipino conventional way.

It is our 16th month together and I wish we could stay longer together. Since today is an Easter Sunday we are on a vacation – vacation in a friend’s house just within our locale. How I wish we could be in orlando in the next anniversaries to come. We would love to go out of town or even out of the countries to spend our special day together. But still we are thankful of wherever we may be our relationship is going very well – our love getting stronger as we have learned to live life and make it happier everyday.

Since last year, we have made a devotion to perform Visita Iglesia (Church Visit) every Maundy Thursday. So last April 5 we have decided to do it within nearby Cavite towns just the two of us. We started at Our Lady of Fatima in Binakayan, Kawit , Cavite. Afterwards, we headed to St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Poblacion, Kawit, Cavite. We proceeded to Holy Cross parish at Noveleta, Cavite then to Most Holy Rosary Parish in Rosario, Cavite where we had our first coffee. Next to it was the Holy Cross Parish in Tanza, Cavite also known as the St. Augustine Church. We moved towards Resurrection Parish in Julugan but we found no station of the cross when we get there so we decided to go instead to the Sto. Rosario Parish in Amaya, Tanza. Our last stop is at Sta. Clara, Chuch in Malabon, Gen. Trias, Cavite. Tiring as it may seems but this was the simplest form of sacrifice that we did for the Holy Week.

It was March 30 of 2012 when I got an invite for an orientation regarding World Employee Share Ownership Plan (WESOP). It is an opportunity given by my current employer to employees world wide to own a certain number of shares. I was thinking if I should avail of it and asking myself if it would be better than investing on a silver rounds. I know it is worthy to spend money with as it looks forward to gain in the next years to come but I would still have to assess my current financial status. Aside from the risk it involves, would I be able to sustain our living with all the fixed expenses listed every month?

There’s always a first time. Though it’s not my first time to leave the office at 3 in the morning, it is just my very first experience here in my current employer. I am not complaining. I am just marking the day while I am contemplating on why I really had to go home that late while I have managed my time so well for more than two years here.

Whether I like it or not, my plan of having even a plain house renovation in the coming month will not push through. It has been greatly affected by the bonus that I got just recently. I thought it would be like last year which was not that huge but has at least supported me on getting our dirty kitchen completed but I just got frustrated about it. But of course I should not stop on this, instead I should work harder to be in better working position or maybe I could just improve my blogging habit to earn some more.
This time I am thinking about the price of playbook instead. I guess it will require a smaller budget which we can afford.

I just realized that a lot of things were really affected by the disappointments I had brought about by the ever little windfall that I got. The mountain bike that we are planning to buy will have to remain as a dream this time. We planned for it because we would like to get hold of a healthy lifestyle biking once in a while or during most of our spare time. Sad that it will not push through but I am not losing hope about it; given the chance we will still avail of it soon. It will be a great help for us not just in terms of health but also in financial matters as we will be able to save a lot in the transportation expense in just a few steps in the bicycle pedal.

We are now back to our addiction American Idol as we are following the performances of our native sister Jessica Sanchez. We are just so proud of her as she and her voice is really very good most specially when she did the rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I will Always Love You”. She is really amazing. I am just wondering if she can play some musical instruments as well such as guitar, piano or some Moog instruments. If she knows at least one then I will be more fascinated about her. Go Jessica Sanchez! Make Filipinos prouder with your talent. We support you.

Unlike any student in a school or an employee in an office bloggers look forward and pray for more assignments, simply because without the assignments we will not be able to earn from our craft. It is our passion to write and share our thoughts but we are even happier that we are able to help our family because of this enthusiasm. It is as if two birds hit by a single stone – writing gives us pleasure and it is really good to note that we are being paid in it.

It is just so unfortunate for us that the long holiday coincided with the peak season at work where in we cannot just ignore those tasks assigned to us as they were really significant to be executed – meaning a lot of report users rely on us. One of the issues that we had is that not all of us are being given with laptop so some would really need to come to office just as to act on their responsibility. We have been asking our Management Information Systems officers if we can loan some laptops just as for the holidays or can our personal laptops be temporarily be installed with some system applications needed to carry out our reports but then it is as if they have something like an ITIL which they strictly follow so we were not allowed to do either of the two choices. Due to that some of us really can’t work from home and it is so sad that we need to work in the office during the Holy Week.
